Community Service

A neighborhood is only as good as the people who live in it, and SunCrest is home to the best humans we know.
Here are a few ways we all work together to give back.

SUNCREST WARM WINTER CLOTHES DRIVE

In 2014, we launched our inaugural “Warm Winter Clothes Drive" to help benefit schools in Heber City, Utah. Through 2017 with the residents of SunCrest we planned, organized, and collected over 1200 warm winter clothing items for Heber Valley Elementary. From boots to hats, jackets to thermals, SunCrest made a difference.

In 2019, we celebrated our sixth year collecting warm winter clothes and made our biggest impact yet. We partnered with The Family Support Center’s Midvale LifeStart Village, a non-profit that provides Housing and self-sufficiency programs for homeless parents in Salt Lake County.

Nearly 500 items were received keeping pace with previous donations, and we were again blown away. It’s a reminder of how we live in the best community!

WINDERMERE FOUNDATION

Windermere understands the importance of giving back to our community. Enriching the neighborhoods we live in which we live is an integral part of how we do business. With every home sale, a portion of our commission is donated to the Windermere Foundation.

Since 1989, the foundation has collected and contributed over $40 million. Assistance is provided to non-profit agencies dedicated to helping homeless and low-income families in our community.

WINDERMERE COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY

Every year since 1984, Windermere associates have dedicated a day away from work to complete neighborhood improvement projects. Creating vibrant communities is one of the things that inspire our network to be involved in service projects that make things a little brighter for all of neighbors.
